Terms of service
Last updated . These terms cover use of the Plamb website and monitoring service.
The service
Plamb provides automated availability checks, alerting and hosted status pages. Plans, limits and prices are described on the pricing page and may change with 30 days notice for existing subscriptions.
Acceptable use
- Only monitor endpoints you own or are authorised to check.
- Do not use the probe network for load testing, scanning or any activity intended to degrade a third party.
- Do not resell raw probe access without a written agreement.
We suspend accounts that use the probe network to attack or overload systems, and we cooperate with abuse reports.
Availability commitment
We target 99.9% monthly availability for the API and dashboard. Business plans that fall below it receive a service credit of 10% of the monthly fee for each full percentage point below target, up to 50%. Scheduled maintenance announced at least 48 hours in advance does not count towards downtime.
Billing
Subscriptions renew monthly or annually until cancelled. Cancelling stops the next renewal; the current period is not refunded. Trials end automatically and are never converted without an explicit action.
Liability
The service is provided on an "as is" basis. Plamb is a monitoring tool, not a guarantee of your own uptime, and our aggregate liability is limited to the fees paid in the twelve months before a claim.
